SPRING – Deputies are investigating an accident that killed a motorcyclist in Spring.
According to Harris County Sheriff's deputies, Alex Silva lost control of his bike early Monday morning while riding down Louetta Road near Kuykendahl Road. Deputies said he hit the back of another motorcyclist while trying to turn into a parking lot and slid into a ditch.

Authorities said he was wearing a helmet, but it was not secured properly. The other motorcyclist did not suffer any injuries.
