HOUSTON – A failed car stunt sent a man to the hospital with a serious head injury, Saturday night.
According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the man was car-surfing on a moving vehicle in a fast-food restaurant parking lot near the intersection of N. Westgreen Blvd. and Park Row in southwest Harris County.

Investigators said the man fell off the car around 10:15 p.m. He suffered a head injury after he slammed into the concrete.
He was flown to the Texas Medical Center by helicopter in serious but stable condition.
It was unclear if the vehicle was moving when the man fell.
