Lone suspect robbed Bank of Texas in northwest Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY – Local and federal officials are investigating a bank robbery in northwest Harris County Thursday morning.

Authorities said the robbery happened around 9 a.m. at the Bank of Texas located in the 12200 block of W. Little York and Cunningham.

Officials said a suspect walked into the bank and said he was armed. He did not show a weapon, but took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators described the suspect as a black man, five feet ten inches tall, 150-160 pounds, with a medium build and 25-30 years old. The suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, gloves, sunglasses and a surgical mask to cover his face.

Harris County Precinct 5 constables and the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force are investigating.
