Deputies: Woman's ex drives truck through her house

Deputies say ex-boyfriend then fled the scene

HOUSTON – A man rammed into a pickup truck, forcing it through the living room of a northeast Harris County home.

At 12 a.m. Friday, a man drove to a house in the 3900 block of Pine Meadow Lane near Hay Meadow Lane. Deputies said he was the ex-boyfriend of the homeowner.

Officials said he got into an argument with the homeowner's current boyfriend. The ex then climbed into his truck and rammed the back of the new boyfriend's truck, forcing it into the house, authorities said.

Deputies said the impact sent the truck into the living room of the house.

After crashing into the home, the ex-boyfriend then fled the scene, officials said.

Deputies said children were home at the time, but no one was in the living room when the truck hit the house, and no one was injured in the wreck.

No names have been released.
