HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A Harris County father has been arrested on accusations of assaulting his own son.
According to investigators, 51-year-old Bill Zinn hit one of his sons with a jack stand. The incident occurred on Spring Court Lane in northwest Harris County.

Deputies said Zinn and his son Andrew got into an argument after Zinn called one of his sons "lazy."
Zinn has been charged with assault of a family member. Officials said he is out of jail on $1,500 bond.
Zinn's next court appearance is currently scheduled for February 5.
