HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - An anonymous tip led deputies to several marijuana grow fields in north Harris County.
On Tuesday, a Harris County Sheriff's Office helicopter spotted the fields in a wooded area south of a cemetery off of I-45 and Rankin Road.
Deputies say they discovered four fields with approximately 1,000 marijuana plants. The plants ranged in height from two to four feet.
The estimated street value is approximately half a million dollars.
The tip came in to the HCSO's Narcotics Tip Line at 713-877-5200.
