3 arrested, 1 wanted in home invasion

Robber holds gun to woman's head, demands cash

HUMBLE, Texas – Three men have been arrested and a fourth is wanted in connection with a home invasion in Humble.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said the group, armed with guns, forced their way into a home in the 6400 block of Ackley Drive around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday. The home's alarm went off, alerting deputies to the break-in, officials said.

Investigators said one of the robbers grabbed a woman inside the home, held a gun to her head and demanded cash.

The robbers told the woman to turn off the alarm, but she hit a panic button instead, officials said.

Detectives said the robbers took cash and jewelry before they ran out of the home.

Deputies set up a perimeter around the neighborhood to try and find the home invaders. Deputies spotted their getaway car and tried to pull it over. The men got out of the car and ran into a field, investigators said.

Three of the men were caught, officials said. They were armed with handguns and shotguns and had stolen cash, detectives said.

A fourth person got away. A description of him has not been released.

The woman, her husband and two children were inside the home at the time of the break-in, officials said. They were not hurt.
