2 Houston restaurants robbed within minutes of each other

Taco Bell, Subway targeted #restaurantsrobbed

HOUSTON – Armed robbers held up two north Harris County restaurants within minutes of each other.

The first robbery occurred around 9 p.m. Tuesday at a Taco Bell at 19400 North Freeway.  Deputies said the suspects arrived at the restaurant in a stolen vehicle, went inside, and robbed the store at gunpoint.

A few minutes later, deputies said the same thing happened at a Subway located at 10255 North Freeway.  Because the descriptions of the suspects matched, deputies believe they are the same ones who robbed the Taco Bell.

No one was injured in either robbery.  The crooks escaped with an unknown amount of money.

The investigation is ongoing.
