HOUSTON - Two men broke into a home in west Harris County and robbed a family of four.

Around 11:30 a.m. Monday, Harris County sheriff's deputies said two men wearing jeans and bandanas broke into a home on Shelby Park Drive.  A 73-year-old man, a 47-year-old man, a 43-year-old woman, and a 10-year-old boy were all home at the time.

Officials said the men forced the family into a closet while they ransacked the house.

Deputies said the thieves managed to escape with money, a purse, license plates, and the homeowner's BMW.

Deputies later recovered the car in George Bush Park, but the suspects remain on the loose.

The names of the victims have not been released.
