Woman robbed at knifepoint in her own driveway

SUGAR LAND, Texas – A woman was just getting home from work when thieves with knives robbed her in her own driveway in the Sugar Land area.

The victim says she was coming home from work at around midnight and pulled into her driveway when she says the group of suspects came up and attacked her.

"They hit the window there, they hit the window from that side and took her purse," said the victim's brother, Quoc Ly.

The group of masked men attacked her at knifepoint while she was still in the driver's seat.

"From work she goes to park her car over here and they have three guys with a masks on, hit her window, and take her wallet and everything," Ly said.

The victim didn't open her window;it's believed the suspects smashed the window to get inside. Inside her stolen purse was an iPhone, wallet and credit cards. The victim was not hurt or pulled out of the car, but very shaken up.

Neighbors who live on Ashford Valley Drive near Dairy Ashford and West Bellfort are worried about the overnight armed robbery and the fact that the suspects were not arrested.

"This isn't the first time something like this has happened. Several times it's happened and it's just not a good thing because they still haven't caught these guys and if they don't do it you don't know what's going to happen then," said neighbor Zohaib Kahn.

Police say it's going to be hard to track the men down because they had their faces covered with masks the entire time.
