Rosenberg police seize 21 pounds of heroin

Two million dollars worth of heroin was seized during a traffic stop in Rosenberg.

ROSENBERG - Twenty-one pounds of heroin was found during a traffic stop on Monday, according to Rosenberg police.

Officials pulled the vehicle over on the 27000 block of Highway 59 and found $2 million worth of the narcotic.

According to police, officers located a hidden compartment in the vehicle that held the narcotics.

Manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance charges are pending on the driver, who was alone in the car.

The name of the driver will be released after the investigation has been completed.
