Man wanted for East Bernard-area convenience store robbery

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Authorities are offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in an aggravated robbery at a convenience store in East Bernard.

Officials said around 8:45 p.m. Friday a man walked into the Riverside Drive-Inn in the 14400 block of U.S. 90A and robbed the business.

Authorities said the store clerk handed the man a bag full of cash before he ran away from the building. 

The man, who authorities said had a handgun, is described as about 6 feet 2 inches tall with a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve gray sweater with a white bandana across his face and a red bandana covering the top of his head during the robbery.

Investigators said anyone with information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges of the wanted man involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000. Tipsters should call Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS.
