The suspects eventually abandoned the pickup truck in the middle of the roadway on FM 521, south of CR 43, with the vehicle still in motion. A foot chase ensued until deputies apprehended the driver and passenger.

The driver was identified as Raymond Lance Bowers. The passenger was identified as Denise Ann Tucker.

Bowers, 24, and Tucker, 30, are currently being held in the Brazoria County Detention Center awaiting arraignment on robbery charges. Investigators say they are currently examining evidence and more charges may be filed in this case.
