MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – A man was arrested Wednesday night, accused of impersonating a firefighter.
Montgomery County Constable Rowdy Hayden said he saw a maroon truck passing cars at a high rate of speed, with sirens blaring, but with no emergency lights or markings Wednesday around 7:21 a.m.

When Hayden pulled the vehicle over, he said the man, later identified as Christopher Cassidy, told him he was a firefighter and showed him an ID.
Hayden contacted the fire department, which said Cassidy hadn't worked at the department for four years.
Cassidy was arrested and charged with impersonating a public servant and felony manufacturing of prescription medication.
