With Halloween falling on a Saturday this year for the first time since 2009, we want to give drivers an incentive to make the right choice not to drive if they are out drinking Saturday night."

Nationally, 38 percent of fatal crashes during Halloween night involved a driver or motorcyclist with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or higher.

Drunk drivers accounted for 23 percent of pedestrian fatalities on Halloween.
