A local gun shop owner is pleading for the public's help after a series of thefts at his business.

The gun shop owner's guns are now out on the streets.

On Thursday, Russell Mayfield showed Local 2 surveillance video from the latest theft, which happened right after Thanksgiving.

It shows multiple masked men using saws to cut into the Highlands store. It's the fifth break-in in eight years.

The business sells firearms, ammunition and police gear, and the owner does not want any of that in the wrong hands.

In the latest case, Mayfield said it took the crooks four hours to complete their crime.

If you know anything about these break-ins, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
