Local Easter egg hunt for adults only

Parents, this is your chance to have fun like your kids

LAKE JACKSON – Every parent has probably thought about it: You see the excitement and glee when your children race off to find hidden eggs and prizes every Easter and wish, even for a second, that you could participate.

A local community is giving adults that opportunity.

The city of Lake Jackson is hosting an Adult Flashlight Egg Scramble on March 29 at MacLean Park.

Key word here: flashlight.

The event will happen at 8:30 p.m.

You must bring your own flashlight and your own bag or basket to carry your eggs.

There will be two fields of 300. One will be a co-ed field, while the other is for women only.

There will be 10,000 eggs for the taking filled with candy and prize coupons. Some of the prizes that will be handed out include gaming systems, 4K HD TVs, tablets, laptops and gift certificates.

You must have a wristband to participate. Each wristband costs $10. You must be 18 years old or older to participate.

Registration is now underway.
