Limits considered on national park visitors

HOUSTON –  The summer months mean a lot of road trips for families to national parks, but some of them are being overwhelmed and now changes are being considered.

The National Park Service is now discussing putting a cap on how many visitors some sites can get each day.

The move comes as the national parks kick off a centennial summer and expect to draw record crowds.

Park managers are looking at how to best manage the impact of more people at the parks, their features and the visitors' experience.
