Many stores are busy getting ready for the holiday season, but customers at Nordstrom won't see any Christmas decorations for a few more weeks.
The retail company has posted signs inside stores around the country, declaring that they won't decorate until November 27th, the day after Thanksgiving.

According to the signs, Nordstrom has a simple explanation for the decision: "we just like the idea of celebrating one holiday at a time."
The fashion retailer also plans to stay closed on Thanksgiving Day, despite the fact that a few of the company's biggest competitors will open their doors early.
