HOUSTON – If you have been on Facebook lately, your feed might be flooded with videos of friends and celebrities taking on the Ice Bucket Challenge.
The challenge started out as a way for people to donate to ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease. It has taken social media by storm, raising over $15 million.
Many Local 2 reporters and anchors have taken the challenge, including Dominique Sachse, Frank Billingsley, Lauren Freeman, Keith Garvin, Courtney Zavala, Britta Merwin, Randy McIlvoy and Ruben Galvan.
The 'Ice Bucket Challenge is taking over HTown and other local personalities are jumping in to raise money and awareness.
