Kittens found burned to death at Houston apartment

HOUSTON - The Houston Police Department is investigating a disturbing case of animal cruelty.

Two kittens were found burned to death. A third kitten was found with its head crushed.

The discovery was made in front of an apartment complex in the 7900 block of Morley on July 9.

The people who live at the apartment arrived home to find the dead kittens. They called police to report what they found.

Police said there have been similar incidents of animal cruelty in the area.

Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information that could help lead to an arrest. If anyone has any information, they are asked to call 713-222-TIPS (8477).
