HOUSTON – The World's Softest Teddy Bear Challenge took place Saturday at the Galleria Mall in Houston.
Kids from across Houston had the opportunity to hold, hug and squeeze teddy bears before casting their votes.

Participants were blind-folded and given two stuffed animals, one from the original World's Softest Brand, and the other from a top brand competitor.
Kids even had a chance to win prizes after voting and see the world's softest giant teddy bear, which tops out at four feet tall.
Houston joins patrons voting in Miami, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
