FORT BEND -

A Fort Bend ISD high school has increased security on Friday after a threat was made.

In a letter to parents, the principal of Kempner High School said school officials found a threat to the school in the bathroom around 12:45 p.m Thursday.

Fort Bend ISD police began an investigation, but found no evidence to support the threat.

As a precaution, extra police officers were added Thursday afternoon and will continue through Friday.

Parents with questions are asked to call the school at 281-634-2300.
