HOUSTON – A karate teacher has been accused of sexually assaulting one of his employees, who is a former student.
Houston police said Jimmy Lee Walker, 46, took a 15-year-old girl to his apartment to pick up supplies for his studio on June 7. Investigators said once inside, Walker sexually assaulted the teen.
Records show that Walker spoke with detectives early in the investigation and denied the allegations. He then left the state to "take care of his own children" and closed his studio, detectives said.
On Thursday, Walker was arrested on a charge of sexual assault of a child under 17. He has bonded out of jail.
