HOUSTON - The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo set a new attendance record.
A whopping 74,901 fans were at Reliant Thursday night and rodeo officials said that was the biggest crowd ever.
The night's featured performer probably had something to do with it. Country music superstar Jason Aldean performed on the main stage.
The previous record was set just a few days earlier. On Sunday night, 74,588 fans watched La Original Banda El Limon and Duelo perform for Go Tejano Day.
The third highest attendance record was also set this year. Approximately 74,241 people went to Reliant Stadium to watch The Band Perry on Wednesday.
