Investigators seek help identifying female found dead in SW Houston

HOUSTON – Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a person who was found dead earlier this month in southwest Houston.

The body of a female was found Feb. 16 on Sharpcrest Street.

Investigators said she weighed 108 pounds, was 5 feet, 8 inches tall and is estimated to be between 15 and 25 years old.

She was wearing a gray short-sleeved knit shirt with "Slope Bunny" embroidered in pink on the left chest, Old Navy blue denim jeans, purple ankle socks, white high-top Converse shoes with red trim and three white metal rings.

Investigators released a picture of the rings. They also released a picture of the female; some people may find it disturbing. Click or tap here to view the image.
