Inbound lanes of Highway 59 reopen after crews clear fuel spill

HOUSTON - An accident involving an 18-wheeler temporarily shut down two lanes of Highway 59 near Highway 288.

According to reports, Houston Fire Department HazMat crews responded to a fuel spill on the inbound lanes of 59 early Wednesday morning.

Two lanes remained closed and two open while crews worked to clean up the spill.

There were no reports of any injuries.
