HOUSTON – All mainlanes of Highway 288 southbound are now open before Sam Houston Tollway after a four-vehicle accident.
The accident was reported around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Traffic was only getting by in a far right shoulder lane while emergency crews were on the scene.
All lanes reopened around 7:45 a.m.

UPDATE: North Freeway reopens at FM 830
All southbound mainlanes of the North Freeway have reopened at FM 830 near Conroe after crews have removed an overturned 18-wheeler.
The accident was reported around 4 a.m. Tuesday.
Conroe police officers had to divert traffic off the freeway and onto the feeder road while crews worked to remove the big rig and clean up the hazmat spill.
The freeway reopened around 7:10 a.m.
