HOUSTON – For families with babies born too early or sick, every day can be filled with fear and uncertainty.
That's why hundreds of people showed up Thursday at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Houston to help kick off the 2014 March of Babies Fundraiser.

Last year more than $3.3 million was raised to support research and programs that help mothers have healthy pregnancies and prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
The 2014 March for Babies will take place April 27 at the University of Houston.
