HUMBLE, Texas - Humble police are investigating after someone broke into a barn and stole an animal from inside.

Investigators say a student arrived at Kingwood Park High School and saw that someone had broken into the school's Future Farmers of America Barn on Friday.

Once inside, the student saw that a pig was missing. The animal's carcass was later found, shot dead and left in pieces.

Police say someone shot the pig, cut it up and taken it's meat.

Humble police say they plan to increase patrols in the area.
