HPD: Restaurant employee takes photos in restroom

HOUSTON – A Houston man was arrested and charged with improper photography after, police said, he hid inside a stall of the women's restroom at a restaurant and took pictures with his cellphone.

Felix Flores, 21, was arrested Thursday night at the McCormick & Schmick's in Town & Country Village. A representative for the restaurant said Flores was hired as a busser less than a month ago.

An 18-year-old female employee said she noticed Flores in the stall next to her while she was using the restroom and she spotted a cellphone near the floor of her stall. She told the restaurant manager who, according to the representative, found Flores still in the stall in the restroom.

The manager called Houston police. Officers said they confiscated Flores' cellphone, which, they said, had several pictures of the female employee in the restroom still stored on it.

Flores doesn't appear to have a prior criminal record. McCormick & Schmick's fired him on the spot Thursday night.
