HOUSTON - A Harris County grand jury will decide if charges should be filed against a man accused of shooting a Huffman father during a birthday party.
Witnesses tell Local 2, Ben Becke was celebrating his 30th birthday party at a friend's apartment in the 2000 block of Dunlavy on Sunday at 2 a.m.when he was shot by a neighbor, angry about the loud music.
According to police, an argument ensued and Becke was shot in the chest. He died at the scene.
"He was a loyal friend," Jacklyn Fegter said of Becke who leaves behind a wife and 3 young daughters. "He was a great father. That's all he talked about was his kids."
The neighbor was interviewed and released without charges, police said.
