HOUSTON – One man was taken to the hospital early Friday after a shooting in southwest Houston.
The shooting happened on Windswept at Unity around 5:15 a.m.

Police said a man was walking along a sidewalk when he was shot by an unknown suspect. He was taken to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in stable condition.
The motive for the shooting is unknown.
