HOUSTON – A man is in custody after a stealing a person's phone in Bellaire, police said.
Officers with the Houston and Bellaire police departments were called to the 6000 block of Bellaire around 12:30 p.m. Friday.

Officials say a man took the victim's phone while holding them a knifepoint near a grocery store.
Police were able to locate the suspect near the intersection of Bissonnet and Rice Boulevard a short time later.
The man was taken into custody by police.
Sky 2 aerials showed the handcuffed man yelling at police before he was put into the back of the police car.
Names of those involved were not immediately released.
