HOUSTON - Houston police want to question a man they're calling a person of interest in connection with a deadly shooting in southwest Houston on March 6.
Investigators say they also want to question the man about a robbery that same night at the House of Pies on Westheimer.
The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. The House of Pies robbery happened a short time later.
Investigators said the person of interest is described only as a man with an alias of "KC" or "Casey." They believe he may live in the area of Spice Lane in Houston.
Police said the man, who has not been charged at this time, was last seen leaving the House of Pies in a newer model white Lexus sedan.
Two suspects have already been arrested and charged in the deadly shooting and the House of Pies Robbery.
Marquis E. Davis, 19, and Donald Nealey, 19, are accused in the killing of Stanly Babu Kumbanattel, 32, who died in the shooting at 8565 West Sam Houston Parkway South.
Kumbanattel was shot several times in the parking lot of the apartment complex. Davis is charged with capital murder and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Nealey is charged with capital murder and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
Davis and Nealey are also charged for their alleged roles in the robbery at the House of Pies.
Anyone with information on the identity of the "person of interest" is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600.
