HOUSTON – A man who smashed his way into a southwest Houston grocery store is on the loose, police say he did it only to steal beer.
Officers say the man used a crowbar to break into the Foodarama on South Post Oak and Willowbend.

The thief grabbed two packs of beer before running away.
A woman who works at the store was inside at the time. She screamed at him to get out, but fortunately was not hurt.
