HOUSTON – Houston police are searching for two men who attempted to rob a bank in Montrose Monday morning.
Police said two men tried to rob the IBC Bank in the 3900 block of Montrose near West Alabama around 9:55 a.m.

Both were wearing masks, and at least one of them was armed with a shotgun, when they tried to get through an employee entrance.
Employees immediately called police when the suspects tried to break down the door. The suspects fled the scene empty-handed.
The case is being investigated by the HPD Robbery Task Force.
