The search is on for the two suspects who police said broke into a Kroger in north Houston early Monday morning.

It happened at the Kroger in the 6700 block of Airline around 3:40 a.m.

Houston police said two black men wearing homemade masks entered the store by prying the doors open.

According to police, one suspect was carrying a pistol and threatened nightside employees.

The suspects eventually ran out of the store, dropping cigarettes on along the way.

Police described one of the suspects as 6 feet 2 inches; the other was described as 5 feet 7 inches.

Police said the suspects remain on the run.
