Texans, Patriots face off Sunday afternoon

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Friendships were forged among Texans fans who flocked to Boston from far and wide on Saturday, having settled into the city on the Eve of the Divisional Round Showdown between the Texans and Patriots.

Before heading to watering holes, Houstonians said they put on their historian hats, taking to the Freedom Trail and Bunker Hill while clad in their battle redcoats.

Converging on one of the oldest cities in the states, it's Houston's hope the NFL's youngest franchise makes it out of Foxboro still standing Sunday.

Fans all over Houston are also getting ready for Sunday's game. Fans said they got together for a "Go-Texans Rally" in downtown Houston.

The Texans fans cheered on the team from Tranquility Park wearing their favorite team gear. The group also gathered for a fan photo.

Even though the nation is having its doubts about the Texans, the fans said they're still behind the team they love.

Fans at today's rally were encouraged to wear Liberty White. This is because the Texans are expected to wear their road white jerseys in Sunday's game.
