Houston police release sketch of man wanted in fatal stabbing in SE Houston

HOUSTON – Houston police have released a sketch of a man wanted in a deadly stabbing at a southeast Houston bus stop.

The stabbing happened Saturday afternoon around 5 p.m. in the 9900 block of Almeda Genoa Road.

Houston police said that when they responded, they found the man suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was rushed to a hospital, where he died.

The victim was a 26-year-old man and his identity has not been released yet.

A witness told police a man ran west on Almeda Genoa Road after the stabbing.

The man suspected in this case is described as African American, in his late 30s to early 40s, 5-feet 10 inches tall, slim, and has short black hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt.
