Houston man convicted of assault makes Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list

HOUSTON – The Texas Department of Public Safety has added a Houston local to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list.

Danny Ray Ferguson Jr., 39, was convicted of assault and received a three-year prison sentence in 2013.  Texas authorities are offering a reward of up to $7,500 for information leading to his arrest.

Investigators said Ferguson’s last known address was in Houston, where he has ties to the eastern Harris County area, including Channelview and Baytown.

According to Crime Stoppers of Houston, Ferguson made its list of most wanted gang members in 2015.

Authorities said Ferguson is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 185 pounds. He has a tattoo of a swastika on the right side of his neck, investigators said. Officials said he also has multiple tattoos on his back, chest, arms and wrists. Ferguson has prior work history as a carpenter, mechanic and auto body repairman, according to the DPS.

Officials said he may also be known as “Outlaw” or “Danny Ray.”
