Houston hotels getting ready for Final Four fans

HOUSTON – This weekend's NCAA Final Four games will bring more than 70,000 out of town visitors to the Bayou City and Houston's hotels are ready.

According to the Houston Convention and Visitor's Bureau, the city has added 3,000 hotel rooms since it hosted the 2011 men's Final Four. Half of those in downtown Houston.

"We've got the hotels. We've got the infrastructure. We've got extra things people can do outside of the games.

Houston is definitely well-versed for this type of premier event," said Hotel Derek general manager Mark Noyes.
Organizers expect a $300 million economic impact.
