Police searching for 2 accused of pawn shop robbery

HOUSTON – Houston Crime Stoppers and the ATF need the public's help in identifying two men involved in an aggravated robbery case. 

According to the news release, the incident happened Aug. 13. Two men entered a pawn shop on Nimitz Street in Houston a little after 8 a.m. and stole handguns and cash from the store.

The first man was described as being between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-8 with a stocky build. He was said to be wearing a tan mask, blue coveralls, gloves and black, red and white shoes. 

The second man was also described as being between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-8. He had a stocky build, was wearing a dark colored mask, tan coveralls, gloves and black and white shoes. 

The men were seen fleeing in a black or dark colored Suburban-type SUV. 

According to the news release, Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect(s) in this case.
