Arson investigators are looking into what caused a fire to break out at an east Houston house.
Houston firefighters responded to the fire just after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at a house in the 1800 block of Napoleon.
The homeowner told firefighters that she smelled smoke.
HFD officials believe the fire was started by an electrical short, but arson is investigating to determine the exact cause.
No injuries were reported.
The home was heavily damaged and a house next door was scorched by flames.
