Man poses as shopper to rob bank in grocery store

HOUSTON – The FBI has released photographs of a man wanted for robbing a bank in east Houston.

The man posed as a holiday shopper when he entered the 1st Convenience Bank located in a Kroger store in the 12600 block of Woodforest Boulevard.

Surveillance photos from the bank shows him pushing a grocery cart just before the robbery.  After abandoning the cart, he handed the teller a threatening note demanding cash. The teller gave the robber the cash, and he took off on foot.  He was last seen heading eastbound from the Kroger parking lot.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

The robber is described as being in his late 30's. He had tattoos under his left eye, neck and arms.
