PEARLAND – A homicide investigation is underway after a nurse at MD Anderson Cancer Center was found dead in his Pearland home.
Pearland police responded to a welfare check on Juanario ‘John' Rosas just before 9 p.m. Sunday.
Coworkers of the victim called police after Rosas did not show up for his scheduled shift at the hospital.
Upon arrival at Rosas' home in the 4800 block of Pinder Lane, police found his body.
Detectives said their investigation suggests this was not a random act. Rosas' death is being investigated as a homicide.
