Homeowner stabbed at Halloween party

HOUSTON – A Halloween party in north Houston turned into a potentially deadly situation when three uninvited guests crashed it.

Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Houston police responded to reports of a stabbing at a home on Shelby and Elysian.  When officers arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed in the stomach.

According to reports, a party was going on at the house when three men drove up to the house. Apparently they were not invited, so a fight ensued. Police said that's when one of those three suspects pulled out a knife and stabbed the homeowner.

The three men then fled the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Two other men received minor cuts during the fight; they were treated at the scene.

The victim's name was not released.

So far, no arrests have been made.
