HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A homeowner was shot after hearing men kick in his front door early Saturday morning, deputies said.
According to authorities, a homeowner woke up to the sound of men kicking in his front door at 20619 Gable Ridge Drive.

Deputies received a 911 call from a person inside the home who said there had been a home invasion and the homeowner had been shot, deputies said.
Officials said, when they arrived at the home they found the homeowner shot. He was taken by helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Deputies said the men fled the house after the shooting.
