CHANNELVIEW, Texas – A family has a lot of repairs to do after their home was knocked off its foundation when a car slammed into it.
It happened around 1 a.m. Thursday on 505 Delldale and South Street in Channelview.

The family said a Cadillac crashed into their home, knocking it off the concrete block foundation. There was also significant damage to the side of the home.
Officials said a man and his two sisters who were inside the home were not hurt.
The driver told investigators that something on his car broke causing him to lose control.
The Cadillac was towed away from the scene.
Police are investigating.
