HOUSTON -

The Labor Day Weekend means it's a No Refusal weekend.

Officers will be on the lookout for impaired drivers.

Under the no refusal law, a search warrant will be issued to draw the blood of any suspected intoxicated driver who refuses to take a breathalyzer test or to give a blood sample.

Friday, Harris County officials held a news conference to announce the start of the initiative.

They were joined by the Patel family, who lost four loved ones to a drunk driving crash.

Harris County continues to top the list of counties nationwide with the most DWI-related fatalities.

The No Refusal initiative starts tonight and will continue through Monday morning.
